"Tell me what happened these past few days." He sat in his seat in the study while Serrien stood in front of his table, recounting what happened and handing him some documents that he flipped through casually while listening to his royal secretary.
"The Kings of the four kingdoms will be visiting in the next few days... and another commemoration will be held as per your order next week to calm the citizens of the Empire," said Serrien in a composed voice that was the only sound that could be heard inside.
Spade nodded but didn’t say anything. Everything was in order; like he always said, the empire would not go into ruin even if he went missing in action for a few days. He trusted his subordinates’ competency.
"The venue will also be in Capital Square, which became even more symbolic for everyone. About the invitations, we already invited most of the important individuals in the world, so our second agenda will basically be met." After Serrien finished his words, he fell silent and waited for Spade’s reaction.
He nodded, satisfied with their efficiency. He looked at the document first before lifting his head as his gaze met Serrien’s.
"We will go according to our previous plan," Spade calmly started. His voice was rather casual, obviously still in high spirits. His brow slightly lifted as he added, "But we will add another to our plan."
"What is that, Your Majesty?" Serrien respectfully inquired, ready to take note of it.
Spade leaned on his seat, his amber eyes were bright as he smiled, and his secretary couldn’t take his gaze away from him as this smile revealed how happy and firm he was with this.
"It’s time for everyone to know... Arren." he simply said, but his gentle gaze was filled with affection as he said those words.
That was right. Spade was now ready to tell the whole world about his relationship with Arren. The timing might not be right, but he was also doing this to protect the omega.
There was no point in hiding him anymore. The moment everyone acknowledged his identity as the future Empress was also a point of protection, and everyone would be able to recognize him. This was to be prepared for another attempt by the organization to abduct Arren in the future.
As a future royal and his omega, Spade’s adding a layer of guards around Arren would now be more than justified.

Arren’s eyes brightened, and he grabbed Spade’s hand before laughing; he was quite ticklish. He really wasn’t ticklish in that part before, but perhaps he started to become sensitive to the alpha’s touch after they made love.
In his reaction, Spade couldn’t help but also smile. "Why? I’m just massaging you,"
While not letting go of Spade’s restless hand, he grinned, "Stop fooling me,"
"What? I’m not." Spade replied, moving his hand that was in Arren’s hold, attempting to repeat what he had been doing earlier.
