Chapter 186
Chapter 186
Chapter 186 - 186When Ye Yun saw that the latest large dungeon was the "Genshin World (Game Version)," he found it quite interesting.
Ye Yun clapped his hands to get everyone's attention.
"Alright everyone, no need to discuss any further. I've already confirmed the fixed dungeon."
Stelle leaned in after hearing this.
"You've already confirmed it? Which dungeon is it, Ye Yun?"
Ye Yun glanced at the group from Teyvat.
"This dungeon is related to many of the people present here."
Ye Yun's words piqued everyone's curiosity.
Himeko lowered her head in thought.
"It's related to most of us? Wait, don't tell me... is the dungeon based on one of our worlds?"
Ye Yun snapped his fingers and smiled.
"Exactly. The fixed large dungeon is called 'Genshin (Game Version).'This dungeon is a game based on the continent of Teyvat."
Everyone was shocked, especially those from Teyvat like Zhongli, Venti, and Calestia.
They were literally watching gossip that involved themselves!
Zhongli asked,"Will this have any effect on the real Teyvat continent?"
Ye Yun shook his head. "No. It's just a game set in your world. You could say it's based on events that would've happened in your original timeline."
Amber looked a bit confused after Ye Yun's explanation.
"Original timeline? What does that mean?"
Lisa explained from the side:"Amber, since we came to Ye Yun's shop, our fates have already changed. What Ye Yun means is that in a world where we never met him—that would be our original world."
Amber suddenly understood."Oh, I see."
Ye Yun clapped again."It's hard to explain everything here. You might as well go experience it for yourselves. I've already locked in the dungeon, and you can enter at any time."
Hearing that, everyone turned and headed toward the dungeon teleport gate.
At the gate, a wooden sign had appeared, next to a floating virtual screen.
On the screen was the login screen for Celestia Island.
Calestia saw the login screen and finally believed that this game really was based on Teyvat—Celestia shown in the screen looked exactly like the real one.
Stelle quickly pressed the login button before anyone else.
In an instant, she was enveloped in white light and sucked into the portal.
Everything went black for Stelle, and when her vision returned, a cutscene was playing.
Someone was drawing in the sand, and another voice spoke.
Stelle listened closely—Wasn't that Paimon's voice?
Paimon: "So, you're from another world?"Lumine: "Yes, my brother and I..."
Stelle watched the whole cutscene for a few minutes.
Once the game officially began, she landed on a beach. Looking at her hands, something felt off.
She ran to the shoreline and looked at her reflection in the water—and her eyes widened.
"What the hell?! I turned into Lumine?!"
Then a realization struck her.
"Wait a second... This game is based on Teyvat,And now I look like Lumine...So that means Lumine is the main character of Teyvat? Damn, that's crazy!I wonder who the main character is in our world?"
Stelle then followed Paimon's guidance and went off exploring.
She collected everything she could find—Even a single mint leaf didn't escape her.
She couldn't help it—her obsessive-compulsive side kicked in.All those items glowing with a shiny white light—she just couldn't leave them behind.
Guided by Paimon, she reached the Statue of The Seven at Starfell Lake.
Paimon: "We can swim across the lake, but be careful! If you run out of stamina while swimming, it could be dangerous!"
Stelle smirked."Let's see how dangerous it can get!"
She jumped into the lake and swam back and forth, refusing to go ashore.
Heh~ I'm just playing! Not getting out! What can you do?
As she kept swimming, she suddenly felt all her strength drain away and sank straight to the bottom.
When she came to, she was back on shore with part of her HP missing.
"What the hell?! I actually drowned? I'm supposed to be the protagonist!"
Grumbling, Stelle finally swam properly to the statue and activated the Wind element inside her.
After using her skills to defeat two waves of Pyro slimes, she continued on.
Just before entering Whispering Woods, she suddenly turned around and headed in the opposite direction.
She left Paimon behind and dove into a nearby cave.
After going through it, she found an NPC, but no quests were available, so she kept moving.
She was headed toward Windrise—where the Anemo Hypostasis was.
Along the way, she found several treasure chests, including a luxurious one that gave her two Primogems.
Opening her inventory, she made a shocking discovery.
No way! All the items in the bag could be taken back to the real world?!
That means she just struck it rich!!!
Eyes sparkling, she licked her lips and eagerly went hunting for more treasure.
And she wasn't alone—Others had made the same discovery and immediately ditched the main story to
"Ye Yun! Start cooking! There are too many people eating breakfast today!
Xiangling-chan and Mei-chan are too exhausted—it's up to us now!"
Ye Yun looked over and saw that Xiangling and Mei also had matching panda eyes.
Ye Yun grabbed Stelle for an explanation.
"Stelle, what's going on?"
Stelle, also sporting massive dark circles, replied,
"What else? Everyone was grinding Genshin Impact all night long."
Ye Yun sighed in speechless disbelief, waved Stelle off, and began cooking.
Meanwhile, the others chatted about the content of the Genshin dungeon.
Zhongli, Jing Yuan, and Welt were discussing in-game details and story text, much of which was eerily accurate.
On the other side, Stelle, Hutao, and others were crowding around Lumine, urging her to treat them.
"Lumine~ You're the main character! That's so awesome!"
"Totally! The protagonist of the story—wow, that status!"
"Lumine, you've gotta treat us to a meal! You're the hero now!"
Lumine was getting more and more flattered by their praise.
"Sure, sure~ Let's have mushroom hotpot at the treehouse tonight, okay?"
Everyone agreed.
"Sounds good! Lumine, move your camper into the teapot realm, okay? Then you can come straight to the treehouse after waking up—it's closer and more convenient."
Lumine thought for a moment.
"Alright, I'll go drive it over in a bit."
Jean, Bronya, Keqing, and Neuvillette—those workaholics—had already left early, still busy with their duties.
Neuvillette was fine—he didn't need much rest anyway.
But Jean, Bronya, and Keqing were all clearly annoyed, each leaving with a big cup of coffee.
Fu Xuan didn't stay long either. Once Qingque finished her tasks, they left with a copied list of names.
Half an hour later.
Jashin-chan stumbled out of the kitchen looking half-dead.
Way too slow! She was just a little demon—why did she have to make breakfast for 60 or 70 people?!
And within half an hour too.
If she hadn't smartly dragged Ye Yun in to help, breakfast would've definitely been delayed.
Yurine looked at Jashin-chan and, surprisingly, gave her a rare compliment.
"Good job, Jammy-chan."
Jashin-chan looked like she'd seen a ghost, springing backward on the spot.
"Who are you?! Get off of Yurine's body! Yurine would never compliment me! No way!"
Yurine sighed.
"Jammy-chan, get over here and eat."
Hearing that, Jashin-chan instantly relaxed.
"Ahh~ That's more like it~ I'm coming!"
She zipped over and sat down next to Yurine.
Yurine glanced at Jashin-chan.
"Jammy-chan, take some food over to Pekora later. I saw her faint from hunger in the park again last night."
Jashin-chan groaned.
"What? No way! She's an angel, I'm a demon—we're enemies! I'm not taking her food!"
Yurine stared into Jashin-chan's eyes.
"Take her some food."
Feeling the threatening pressure in Yurine's gaze, Jashin-chan instantly gave in.
"Understood! I'll go right away!"
Yurine nodded in satisfaction.
Everyone watching smiled knowingly—those two always had such a funny dynamic.
Then they continued eating.
After breakfast, everyone left to rest. Staying up all night playing Genshin was exhausting.
Only then did they realize that physical exertion in the game also drained their real-life stamina.
The more active they were in-game, the more tired they felt in reality.
Especially Stelle—she was the most exhausted after running all over Mondstadt last night.
Luckily, the prelims for the Spirit Tournament were scheduled for tomorrow.
Otherwise, in this condition, none of them would be fit to compete.
Topaz flopped onto her bed as soon as she got to her room.
She was beyond glad she had insisted on this schedule.
Originally, Aventurine and Jade wanted the matches to be packed tightly, one per day.
But Topaz had suggested a break between matches—not just to give players a rest, but also to boost tourism income for the Joyful Little Planet.
Some folks came from far away, and they usually only had one day to spend there.
Having to come and go quickly was just a hassle.
Back in Stelle's room.
She first poured a bowl of dog food for her Tempest wolf.
Then she let Mires out, telling her to take Blaziken out for training.
After a quick wash, Stelle collapsed into bed and fell asleep.
In the Jashin-chan World, inside Yurine's apartment.
Jashin-chan, holding a lunchbox, waved to Yuririn and headed out.
The lunchbox was filled with food for Pekora: six red bean buns, four beef buns, a bowl of warm milk, and a fried egg.
As she stepped out the door, she looked at the lunchbox with extreme reluctance.
Still, Pekora was pretty pitiful—no ID, forced to work illegal jobs.
She only earned enough to barely afford some cheap food that didn't even taste good.
And wasting food? That was the one thing Jashin-chan couldn't stand.
Well, fine. She'd deliver it to Pekora.
Wiggling her tail, Jashin-chan headed toward the park where Pekora was.
As she walked...
She arrived and immediately saw an angel chasing Pekora and trying to hit her.
Jashin-chan raised her hand.
"Uh, could you two stop for a second?"
The angel and Pekora both froze upon hearing Jashin-chan's voice.
Jashin-chan walked up to Pekora.
"Pekora, this food is from Yurine."
The angel looked over and sneered.
"Pekora-sama, you've truly fallen—consorting with a demon.
I shall now, in the name of the Lord, purify you both!"
She pulled out a spiked mace and swung it at Jashin-chan.
Jashin-chan reacted fast, catching the weapon with her bare hands.
She sneered.
"Hmph! You think you can ambush the invincible, ferocious little demon? Not a chance!"
But then came a "shlick" sound—two spurts of blood shot from the backs of her hands.
Only then did Jashin-chan realize—
Crap! It's a spiked mace! It's got spikes!
She instantly let go, rolling on the ground in pain.
The attacker, satisfied, grinned.
"Excellent! What luck—another demon.
One more kill, and my position will be even more secure~
Now to finish off Pekora-sama!"
The attacker was none other than the angel Poporon.
Originally just a trainee, she was promoted after Pekora disappeared.
As a full-fledged angel, she could command trainees and enjoy luxury baths, cloud-soft beds, gourmet meals, and fine drinks.
Trainees, meanwhile, served as servants for higher-ranked angels.
Having tasted this good life, Poporon decided to eliminate Pekora to keep her status forever.
So she came to the human world.
She never expected to run into a demon so soon—and defeat her so easily.
Jashin-chan continued to writhe on the ground.
Poporon approached with the mace.
Then—crack—she stepped on something.
Looking down, she realized she'd crushed the lunchbox.
Seeing that, Jashin-chan exploded!
"You wretched angel! How dare you waste food! That's it!!!
Jashin-chan's Super Flying Kick!!"
Jashin-chan hated wasting food and immediately launched into the air, kicking Poporon in the face.
Though not strong in general, she had anti-angel bonus damage.
Her flying kick knocked Poporon out, and she followed up by suplexing her into the ground.
Poporon's head hit first—knocked out cold.
Jashin-chan looked around, then grabbed some duct tape from the cardboard box that served as Pekora's shelter and tied Poporon up like a caterpillar.
Then she hoisted Poporon up and, in ten seconds, sprinted to the distant seashore and chucked her into the ocean.
Mission complete, she returned to the park and grabbed Pekora's hand.
"Come with me to explain what happened.
The lunchbox got crushed—Yurine's totally gonna think I was messing around again.
I'll make you more food too. Saves me another trip later."
Having just survived a brush with death, Pekora stared blankly at Jashin-chan's back.
"Is she... an angel?"
Back at Yurine's apartment.
Jashin-chan opened the fridge—no food.
Since going to Ye Yun's place, she hadn't gone to the market even once—she'd just been mooching off Ye Yun's ingredients.
Left with no choice, she decided to bring Pekora to Ye Yun's shop.
"Yurine, I'm taking Pekora to Ye Yun's for food."
Yurine, doing homework, looked up and nodded.
Jashin-chan grabbed Pekora and stepped through a portal.
Pekora felt the world go dark and instinctively clutched Jashin-chan.
When her vision cleared, she found herself in a new place—warm, beautiful.
Jashin-chan glanced around. Aside from Noelle, no one was there.
She waved.
"Noelle-chan~"
Noelle, sweeping, looked up.
"Eh? Jashin-chan? Why are you come back?"
Jashin-chan sighed.
"I know, right? Bad luck today. The food I brought her got ruined.
Nothing left at home, so I brought her here.
Oh, right—this is Pekora, the useless angel."
Pekora wanted to object but held her tongue.
Noelle smiled kindly at her.
"Hello, Pekora. Welcome. I'm Noelle, a staff member here."
Pekora bowed slightly.
"Nice to meet you, Noelle-chan. Please take care of me."
Jashin-chan patted her on the back.
"Noelle-chan~ Help her find a seat—I'm gonna whip up something for her to eat."
Noelle nodded and led Pekora to a booth, poured her a glass of water, and went back to cleaning.
Pekora sat, holding the glass and curiously observing her surroundings.
She watched Jashin-chan cooking, Noelle cleaning...
Sitting here doing nothing just didn't feel right.
So she got up and walked over to Noelle.
"Noelle-chan, is there anything I can help with?"
Noelle smiled.
"No, it's okay. I've got it covered."
Pekora replied:
"Please let me help a little—I feel bad just sitting around..."
