Chapter 1572: Chapter 1566: Fury that Emerged from the Sky"You want it that much?"
"Yes!"
"Alright then, I’ll give it to you."
Tang Ye shook his head as he looked at the emotionally explosive Lu Xiaojie, then tossed the eyeball in his hand over to her. Lu Xiaojie leapt up like a famished tiger pouncing on its prey, grabbing the eyeball mid-air!
As her hand touched the eyeball, Tang Ye squinted. He saw the eyeball, which originally had a glassy texture, begin to liquefy!
"What are you doing?" Tang Ye asked.
Lu Xiaojie didn’t answer. She stared dazedly at the eyeball in her palm with a very peculiar expression, possibly the calmest she’d ever been.
Tang Ye straightened up as he watched the eyeball’s transformation. The part with the glassy texture became soft and then liquified. Clear water seeped from the gaps between Lu Xiaojie’s fingers and onto the ground. Soon, the liquefaction stopped, and the eyeball completely changed. Its true form was an irregular mass, with a color hard to describe; it seemed black, yet on closer inspection appeared white, and then in a moment of distraction, turned red.
Interestingly, in Tang Ye’s eyes, the color of this object was one only he could see, a new color that people could never imagine before witnessing it!
He saw grains of sand floating out from the object, and as they rose in front of Lu Xiaojie, they stopped ascending and began to swirl. Initially, only a few grains of sand floated out, but gradually, more and more grains emerged, forming a sand ball before Lu Xiaojie!
More sand grains continued to fly out from the object, merging into the sand cluster above. Soon, the sand ball in front of Lu Xiaojie was as large as a truck tire, and still growing!
Tang Ye sat slightly more upright. In his eyes, the colors within the sandball swirled continuously, like clouds in the sky without a fixed shape.
After about two minutes, no more grains were dispersing from the formerly eyeball-shaped object, and the sand ball had grown to the size of a car front.
At this point, the expression on Lu Xiaojie’s face seemed fixed, showing no changes even after a long period. She wore a strange look, as if attracted by something she wanted but couldn’t accept the relative loss involved in obtaining it.
Soon, the enormous sand ball constantly swirling in front of Lu Xiaojie acted like a water balloon violently shaken, and in the next second, it burst with a "boom!"
Simultaneously, a black mist surged in front of Tang Ye, rapidly forming a semicircular barrier, blocking the scattered sand grains from the explosion!
As soon as the semicircular barrier formed, it was immediately covered by a mass of sand grains. These grains lingered on the barrier for just two seconds before an unknown force controlled them back together again. Tang Ye saw countless grains of sand rotating, and these minuscule particles began to decompose, transforming into another form.
All of this happened so quickly that by the time Tang Ye withdrew the semicircular barrier from in front of him, the original sand cluster had already transformed into a water ball. The color of the water ball was impossible for anyone to name because it was a color no one had ever seen. Of course, Tang Ye recognized it. What the color was exactly, he couldn’t say; he could only describe it as a "new color."
The water ball churned, quickly extending liquid arms in every direction, as if
She suddenly turned her head and roared at Tang Ye, "Betrayal! She betrayed me! I won’t let her get away with it! I want you to pay a price... everything... all of it..."
The fury in her eyes seemed directed at Tang Ye, which puzzled him. He turned to look around, yet found nothing. He looked back at Lu Xiaojie, only to see her abruptly bend her body as her back was pierced by something, revealing a dark purple spike that nearly tore the air with a "swish," thrusting towards Tang Ye’s head.
